Sony HDC-1500

The Sony HDC-1500 HD camera is the top of the line camera that is used on almost every major entertainment and sports broadcast in the world. It features a full raster 1920/1080 60P CCD imager that has the ability to provide 24P, 30P and 59.94 interlaced images in the 1080 format. In addition, the camera provides super-sampled 720P/60P because of the ability of the HDC-1500 to capture images at native 1080/60P. This Sony technical innovation provides image quality higher than native 720/60P cameras.

The cameras are controlled via SMPTE fiber optic cable, letting Clark’s engineers easily match cameras in a multiple camera environment. We also provide additional accessories that enable this camera to be used handheld, on jibs, and in studio configuration with long lenses.
