Clark HD has added the Sound Devices PIX-240 SSD recorders to our rental inventory. We liked them so much, we became dealers for them. They have become so popular; it's hard to keep them in stock!
The recorder is lightweight, which allows for mounting to any HD camera system for high quality Pro-Res and AVID DNXHD recoding to CF or SSD media.Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD video formats have emerged as industry standards. These I-frame codecs offer the best in picture quality, processing efficiency, and data storage requirements. They are ideal for editing, on-the-fly color grading, and video processing. Files recorded in the field on a PIX recorder are ready for the most popular editorial workflows.
