Clark HD offers Cinedeck EXTREME, the industry’s first extremely portable, cinema-grade on-board recording, monitoring and playback device designed for use at every level of television, commercial, independent or major motion film production. Cinedeck Key Feature Highlights
Cinedeck boasts a number of features combined in a unique, ultra portable footprint that delivers highly-desired capabilities for anyone who has endured production in the field using unwieldy, expensive and unreliable equipment.
Cinedeck EXTREME version 2.0 is now shipping and immediately available. Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 enables any camera with an HD-SDI or HDMI output to complement on-board compression codecs and record to a choice of the most preferred finishing standards used in production today, including all flavors of Avid DNxHD, Apple ProRes, and CineForm Digital Intermediate. Additional flexibility for uncompressed 444 and uncompressed 422 recording is available via the FullStream Uncompressed™ option. V2.0 introduces full support for the EXSync timecode module, a hardware accessory that enables single or multiple Cinedeck EXTREME devices to jam sync to a master clock source. V2.0 also contains a whole host of usability and performance improvements based on customer feedback.
Some enhanced features are:
- Cinedeck EXTREME also functions as an on-board monitor with zoom function to assist in accurate setting of back focus. Also has built-in scopes to ensure proper exposure.
- Captures highest quality video in 10-bit 4:2:2 or 12-bit 4:4:4 CineForm files in .MOV format, as well as other industry standard codecs and formats. This eliminates time-consuming ingest and transcoding when entering post-production.
- Uses rugged 2.5” solid state drives for maximum compatibility, reliability and cost effectiveness.
- Playback/Review: Cinedeck plays back shots instantly via on-screen transport controls. Logical touch screen controls enable selected playback of just the portion of the clip to be reviewed.
- HD Format Support: 720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60, 1080PsF23.98, 1080p23.98, 1080PsF24, 1080p24, 1080PsF25, 1080p25, 1080PsF29.97, 1080p29.97, 1080PsF30, 1080p30, 1080i50, 1080p50, 1080i59.94, 1080p59.94, 1080i60, and 1080p60.
- SD Format Support: 625/25 PAL, 525/29.97 NTSC, 525/23.98 NTSC and 480p (plus realtime up/down conversion with hardware de-interlacing and 3:2 pulldown removal, and 23.98 --> 59i on playout options)
