HPX-2700

The HPX2700 is designed as a premium-quality, workhorse HD cinematography camcorder that shines in a wide range of content critical applications. The AJ-HPX-2700 Varicam is the P-2 format of the successful 27-H tape based Varicam that redefined cost effective HD acquisition.

The 2700 has the ability to record in the legacy DVCPRO-HD codec to enable post production to easily mix tape based and P-2 based files. Additionally, the camera utilizes the AVC-Intra codec that allows for native frame recording to maximize storage on a P-2 card. ( For example, a 32gb P-2 card will hold 80 minutes of 720/24P ).
