Clark's HD DITs

To get the maximum potential from any HD camera do not underestimate the role of the DIT – Digital Imaging Technician. The DIT makes major contributions to the final product helping to save time and money both on set and in post by assuring the best possible quality of records. All Clark HD Engineers and DITs are trained on our equipment and accessories to ensure smooth operation on set. Additionally, many of our DITs have attended HD-Expo’s Varicam Camp and have received certification.

Duties and activities include:

• Setting up and adjusting the equipment including monitoring and recording devices
• Fine tune the camera parameters for optimizing the desired image characteristics according to the DOP requests
• Responsible for the maintenance and technical workflow during shooting
• Controlling technical function and matching of cameras when working with several cameras
• Data transfer and verifying of footage on storage medium
