We have a selection of PA systems that can be floor supported or flown to eliminate sight line issues. Clark’s audio engineers are able to provide multiple feeds to satellite trucks, PA systems, overflow rooms, phone hybrids and recorders. This eliminates the need for duplicate gear and crew, making a much smoother production. In keeping with the Clark Media “package” way of working, our audio department has many pre-built systems to fill your needs.
Pre-wired yet entirely patchable, engineers are always amazed at the ease of setup when they wheel in our cubes. Custom cables make this modular system very easy to use. These tailor-made snakes can run to a control room to feed video recorders and receive playback. Intercom and spare lines also run down one cable. Another specially made snake can send all feeds to our pre-wired amp racks that can be put backstage or right next to mix position. This makes for quick setups.
Audio Mixing systems:
Analog – For smaller size events – Clark Audio provides the industry prove Mackie Onyx 1640 16channel mixer. Combined with a small rack of a la carte gear- compressors, phone hybrids and amplifiers, this package works well in venues where space is an issue.
Digital - Need more resources with a small footprint? Clark Audio has the perfect all in one system built around the Yamaha LS9-16. A single rack with only a 2 foot by 2 foot space, it contains the mixer, Gentner DH30 phone hybrids, compressors and an EQ to support PA speakers.
Need more than 16 channels? Clark has integrated the Yamaha LS9-32 into its most efficient audio system yet. It is set up with 32 microphone inputs and 8 additional line inputs. Plus it travels with an 8 channel Dugan.
After talking with several engineers – we’ve decided to offer the Yamaha LS9-32 with a traditional analog processing rack as an option. While the mixer is fully digital and offers an impressive array of internal processing, many engineers prefer the “handles” available with outboard processing.
When space is still an issue but more power is needed, Clark Audio can provide the Yamaha M7CL-48. With 48 Mic/Line inputs and a large sum of internal processing, this system will handle multiple broadcast feeds, records and PA simultaneously. A surprising range of functions that you would normally have to supply in the form of peripheral equipment is built in, and all of this is provided in a space that is dramatically less than an analog console of similar scope.
